Brooklyn Hemispherical Bitters is a Brooklyn based company focusing on unusual bitters flavors made in a classical style. The base for their bitters is made using very traditional methods, drawing flavors from roots, vegetables, fruits, and herbs. The tradition ends there though, and their unusual, seasonal offerings have taken the bitters world by storm. Zagat referred to their bitters as “kooky” and “trendy”, CBS New York has named them one of the three best bitters brands in New York City, and whether online or in-store, they are one of the best selling bitters brands at Whisk.
All of their bitters are hand-crafted in Brooklyn using local ingredients whenever possible. The seasonal nature of their bitters may mean that certain flavors are only available at certain times of year, so if you see a flavor that catches your eye, it’s best to snap it up before it’s too late.
Their Sriracha bitters is an aromatic preparation that combines the spicy punch of sriracha chili sauce with classic bittering agents. Savory up front with notes of garlic, burnt orange peel and rock salt, they finish with the pleasing slow sear of Thai chili heat.
