The herringbone pattern is achieved with artisan wood working techniques by combining different colored pieces of acacia wood all colors are natural with no artificial dyes and only FDA approved, Hand wash only, do not soak or clean in the dishwasher and to extend the beauty of the board, occasionally treat with mineral oil.
